History of Sharp Products

The Sharp Corporation was founded in 1912 by Tokuji Hayakawa and takes its name from one our founder’s first invention, the Ever Sharp propelling pencil, developed in 1915. Today, Sharp is a worldwide developer of core technologies that play an integral role in the development of digital technology such as optoelectronics, infrared, semiconductors, digital MFD’s LCD display panels and solar technology and currently transforming to People-oriented IoT Company.
